BRIGHT 2026-2027 Leadership Team

Aaron Wang, President

Aaron Wang is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School and a co-founder of BRIGHT. His goal is to support individuals and communities facing financial struggles by organizing fundraisers that provide real assistance. Aaron is also dedicated to ensuring the organization is inclusive, working to build a platform where teens can contribute, collaborate, and grow together. A self-taught double-black diamond skier, Aaron also enjoys music and spends his spare time reading through law suits.

Lucy Wang, Vice President

Lucy Wang is a freshman at The Athenian School and serves as Vice President of BRIGHT Alliance. She enjoys giving back to her community and supporting youth leadership initiatives. Outside of school, she is a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and plays both piano and violin.

Sydney Lo, Event Coordinator

Sydney Lo is a sophomore at Amador Valley High School and the Event Coordinator of BRIGHT. She is heavily involved in community service initiatives such as tutoring underprivileged kids in South Africa. In her free time, she enjoys playing clarinet, badminton, and listening to music.  She hopes to give back to the community through BRIGHT while connecting with others who share her passion for making a meaningful impact. 

Aimee Han, Secretary & Chief Editor

Aimee serves as the Secretary and chief editor for BRIGHT. She is currently a 6th grader at Harvest Park Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute and dancing at EDA. She is excited to be part of BRIGHT and looks forward to participating in volunteer events to help and support the community.

Nicholas Jiang, Youth Leader

Nicholas Jiang is a 7th grader at Harvest Park Middle School and serves as a Youth Leader for BRIGHT. A competitive swimmer, he represents the Pleasanton Seahawks on their junior varsity team. Nicholas has a deep love for nature and enjoys hands-on work, and he is eager to apply his energy and practical skills to support those in need through BRIGHT’s community initiatives.
